...the Scottish children played the game! On Thursday the 28th of April that is. Today is May 3rd already, but hey, everybody partied on the four free days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday)!
I'm very happy to tell you that everything went all right at the match in France yesterday: the weather was very sunny and quite warm. The kids were soooo excited! We had a really great time together and they all enjoyed the match and all the activities around it!
So I've been to Portugal, Spain and France so far! Great!
What follows is some photos the French children took while I was in France!
Here I am when I arrived, when the French boys played the match, then when the cheerleaders were getting ready to do their part of the show and in the end after the game when the captain signed on me before sending me to Scotland:
Now I'm in France, but still inside the box :(. They said they would open it tomorrow when all the French students would be present! I can't wait to see their faces!

So the first match was yesterday, and what an amazing success it was!
The Portuguese students, teachers and parents enjoyed themselves a lot with the eTwinning Football Matches kick off!
It all started on 16th March, at 03:15 pm in the Portuguese school's gymnasium as it was raining quite a bit outside! They carried me carefully to the gymnasium, and then we started our 'dance'! Players and me, cheerleaders and audience, fun and fair play!
The school's drum band and the cheerleaders' group did the opening, followed by the Portuguese national anthem. Then, both team captains and the referee toss the coin and the game began.
I liked the 'dance' a lot, my movements through the air felt like flying again, and now I am already on my way to Spain, where another sensational match awaits me!
The Portuguese school's team beat the European team 5-3, but it was an exciting game - 8 goals in a match! - and both teams worked really hard to do their best , kick me skillfully and score goals!!!
The cheerleaders were great! They supported their team all the way through and performed their choreography at the beginning, in the match's break and at the end.
Tomorrow I will participate in the first football match! It will be on Portuguese soil, and I am looking forward to it!
The truth is that I enjoy being sent in all directions by skilled footballers, and also I am fond of the goalkeeper's hands when he caresses me and holds me tight. I don't feel like being kicked at all! I can sense the players' joy and dedication, and their enthusiasm is proof that they love playing football using me.
